The singer-actress revealed at a concert Wednesday night (Nov. 7) that she and her husband Marc Anthony are indeed expecting a child, report celebrity news sources.
"Marc and I are expecting a baby," announced J.Lo at the Miami leg of the "El Cantante" Tour. A due date wasn't mentioned.
Although the news itself wasn't a huge surprise (the media had been eyeing about her bump for a while, and even her designer had inadvertently let slip the happy news) her hubby was shocked at her decision to finally speak up.
"I didn't know she was going to talk," he told the crowd. The surprised singer shrugged his shoulders and then leaned over and kissed his wife's belly, which she displayed to the audience by turning and revealing her profile.
"This is a special time in our lives," Lopez added. "And we waited until the last show to tell you."
Lopez, 38, and Anthony, 39, were married on June 5, 2004, just four days after his divorce to his first wife, Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, was finalized. This will be their first child together. Anthony already has three children: daughter Arianna with his ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado and two sons -- Christian, 6, and Ryan, 4, with Torres.
In April, Lopez released first Spanish-language album "Como Ama una Mujer" ("How a Woman Loves"). She's also known for her films that include "Selena," "The Cell," "The Wedding Planner," "Gigli," "Shall We Dance," "Monster-in-Law" and "El Cantante," in which Anthony stars as salsa king Hector Lavoe.
