Friday was truly a good day for "Good Day L.A." co-host Jillian Barberie.
The former "Skating With Celebrities" competitor and her husband, actor Grant Reynolds, welcomed a baby girl on Friday, July 6 in Los Angeles, reports People.
"We are overjoyed, ecstatic and so in love," says Barberie.
The child, named Ruby Raven Reynolds, weighted 6 lbs., 7 oz. at birth and is the first for the couple.
The celebrity magazine notes that Ruby was born just one day before her due date, which just happens to be the couple's first wedding anniversary.
Barberie, 40, and Reynolds, 34, wed in a private ceremony in her backyard last year. Barberie was previously married to professional baseball player Bret Barberie from 1996 to 2002.
Barberie first gained attention for providing the weather on "Fox NFL Sunday" in 2000, holding her own among the likes of James Brown, Terry Bradshaw and Howie Long. She's also hosted "The Test," "EX-treme Dating" and "Good Day Live." Barberie plans on taking three months of maternity leave before returning to work.
Reynolds has only appeared in bit parts on the SciFi Channel's series "The Invisible Man" and in a handful of B movies.
