Keri Russell has joined the cast of CBS Films' return to the big screen.
The former "Felicity" vixen will co-star in a medical drama for which Harrison Ford and Brendan Fraser have already signed on. Fraser will play a man who turns to surly doctor Ford to save his children from a mysterious illness. Russell will play Fraser's wife, according to Variety.
The project is scheduled to begin filming in April. CBS was last involved in feature films with Tri-Star Pictures, but ended their involvement in 1984. CBS Films began staffing up last year.
Russell, 32, last graced the big screen in last year's "Bedtime Stories."Copyright © 2015, Los Angeles Times
