Neeson 'Taken' With Morel Drama

Liam Neeson, who plays a colonel on the hunt for a man in "Seraphim Falls," is tracking another enemy in his latest film.

The actor has signed on to star in director Pierre Morel's drama "Taken," reports Variety..

Written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, "Taken" stars Neeson as an ex-soldier who discovers that his daughter has been kidnapped by slave masters while traveling in Europe. Before she gets shipped off to who knows where, he must track them down to save her.

Shooting will take place mainly in Paris and begins productuib on Feb. 14. Neeson was originally supposed to star in Steven Spielberg's biopic "Lincoln," but production has been postponed while the director gets started oon "Indiana Jones IV."

Neeson next stars as a colonel seeking revenge against a lone drifter (Pierce Brosnan) in "Seraphim Falls," in theaters on Friday, Jan. 26. He will also reprise his role as the voice of Aslan, the wise lion, in "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian."
