When you think of the female-centered cable network Lifetime, surely one of the names that comes up is ... Donald Trump?

Maybe not yet, but the real estate mogul and "Apprentice" boss may soon be associated with the channel. At its upfront presentation, Lifetime revealed that it's developing a scripted series set in one of The Donald's New York City buildings.

The nighttime soap "Trump Tower" (which Trump will also narrate) is one of 10 scripted series the network has in development as part of its ongoing effort to establish a new, somewhat hipper brand. Having already secured the highly polished "Project Runway" for late this year and signed a deal with author Patricia Cornwell to adapt two of her novels for movies, the network laid out the rest of its development slate to advertisers Monday.

The network has already given pilot orders to two drama projects: "Mistresses," based on a BBC show about a group of college friends who continue to rely on one another into adulthood, and "Drop Dead Diva," a dramedy about a spoiled young actress who, after an untimely death, finds her spirit deposited in the body of a brilliant but "unpolished" lawyer.

Among Lifetime's other scripted projects are "Rita Rocks," a comedy starring Nicole Sullivan as a woman suffering an identity crisis; "Chambermaid," about the relationship between an eccentric federal judge and her new clerk; "Burnt Toast," based on actress Teri Hatcher's memoir of single motherhood; and "The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard," about a woman who becomes an unlikely candidate for governor.

Lifetime is also bringing back its successful series "Army Wives" for a second season starting in June (though "Side Order of Life" and "State of Mind" appear to be no more), and the Carson Kressley-hosted makeover show "How to Look Good Naked" will return in July.
