Milla Jovovich and director Paul Anderson, who worked on "Resident Evil" together, are embarking on a more private collaboration.
The actress and her fiance are expecting a baby due in the fall, reports People. It will be the first child for both.
They first met when Anderson, 42, directed Jovovich, 31, in the first "Resident Evil." He also wrote and produced the sequels starring Jovovich, "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" and "Resident Evil: Extinction," which will be released in theaters in September.
The couple announce their engagement in March 2003. It will be Anderson's first marriage, but the actress' third. She as previously wed to "The Fifth Element" movie producer-director Luc Besson and actor Shawn Andrews.
Anderson directed "Mortal Kombat" and also wrote/directed "AVP: Alien vs. Predator."
