Diaper duties have increased twofold in Mira Sorvino's household.
The Oscar winner and her actor-husband Chris Backus welcomed their second child on Monday at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills, Calif., report news sources.
The boy, named a surprisingly mundane Johnny, weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces at birth.
Sorvino, 38, married actor Backus, 24, in June 2004 in Santa Barbara. In November of that year, they had their first child, daughter Mattea Angel.
Sorvino is the daughter of actor Paul Sorvino and won the supporting actress Oscar for 1994's "Mighty Aphrodite." Her credits also include "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" and "Quiz Show."
Backus has appeared on the Fox drama "The O.C." and the NBC sitcom "Will & Grace."
