'The O.C.' Star Charged With DUI, Pot Possession

Mischa Barton may no longer be on "The O.C.," but she's still acting a lot like her wild character Marissa Cooper.

The 22-year-old actress has been charged with four misdemeanor counts stemming from a December arrest, reports TMZ.com.

Barton has been charged with possession of marijuana, driving under the influence, driving without a license and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or higher.

On Dec. 27, she was stopped in West Hollywood at 2:46 a.m. when she was seen weaving between lanes and then making a turn without signaling. At the time, she was booked for driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of illegal narcotics and driving without a valid license. She was released on $10,000 bail.

Barton is best known for playing Marissa Cooper, who died in a car crash, on FOX's "The O.C." Her film credits include "Notting Hill," "The Sixth Sense" and the upcoming Black Plague comedy "Virgin Territory," "St. Trinian's" and "Closing the Ring."
