Heath Ledger was only 28 when he died of an accidental prescription drug overdose in New York. Six months later, "The Dark Knight" hit theaters. He played the Joker as a terrifying, utterly amoral psychopath, and the role won him a posthumous Academy Award. But that wasn't his last movie -- he had filmed about a third of his role in "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus." His part was taken over by Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell -- and all three actors donated their fees from the film to Ledger's daughter.
