Amber Tamblyn, Orlando Bloom look for 'Main Street' spots

Horton Foote's "Main Street" is getting a few new residents.

Amber Tamblyn and Orlando Bloom are in talks to star as a mysterious stranger and a policeman in Reliant Pictures' adaptation, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Andrew McCarthy, meanwhile, has definitely signed on to play a slimy businessman. The story follows Tamblyn's character's effect on the residents of a small Southern town.

Filming begins in April.

Bloom, 32, last starred in 2007's "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End." Tamblyn, 25, co-starred in 2008's "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2."
