( Universal ) Alfred Hitchcock's movies rarely got their due from Oscar (and the director himself famously never won), but that still doesn't explain why Perkins' marvelously disturbing portrait of insanity in 1960's landmark "Psycho" (a film nominated for four Oscars overall) was overlooked at the time. |
