Paris Hilton is pimping out her album with a little Memphis flava.
The hotel heiress will collaborate with Oscar winners Three 6 Mafia to produce and record tracks for her debut album, which already boasts other big-name musicians, reports Memphis' Commercial Appeal.
"We ran into her at a William Morris Agency party and she said she liked our song 'Stay Fly' and asked, could we work with her," says the rap trio's Jordan "Juicy J" Houston. "We're just getting into the studio and putting together some more tracks for her. From there, we'll see, but it will be a blast working with Paris Hilton. I mean, she is Paris Hilton."
To top it all off, the city of Memphis has named Saturday, April 1 -- no foolin' -- Three 6 Mafia Day, during which they will receive a key to the city. The rappers won the best song Oscar in March for their song "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" from the film "Hustle & Flow."
Hilton, 25, has been working on music for a while now, and the song "Screwed," which was leaked over the Internet is all that she has to show for it so far. For this highly anticipated current album she's worked with former 'N Sync member JC Chasez, Backstreet Boy/ex-boyfriend Nick Carter and Lil Jon.
On the TV front, she'll be seen on the fourth season of "The Simple Life" on E! in which she will vie with ex-friend Nicole Richie to see who's the best temporary housewife for one lucky family.Copyright © 2014, Los Angeles Times
