A two-hour infomercial

Apparently TV has gotten so concerned about people fast-forwarding through commercials via DVRs that producers are now introducing commercials into the show itself. People's Choice audience host Su-chin Pak did a segment where her "beauty board" superheroes made her up and plugged CVS pharmacies. It smacked of a "Big Brother" or "Survivor" challenge based on whatever movie the CBS corporation has coming out soon. And it was just as sad and dumb.-- Andrea Reiher, Zap2it Getty Images
