Pilots: 'Eli Stone' Alum Goes 'Inside the Box'

Shonda Rhimes' ABC pilot "Inside the Box" has added a couple of familiar faces to its cast, and the "Ab Fab" remake at FOX has rounded out its ensemble.

Jason George, who's coming off another ABC show, "Eli Stone," has signed on to "Inside the Box," a drama about the TV news business. So has "Everwood" alumna Sarah Drew, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

At FOX, meanwhile, Zosia Mamet and Toni Trucks have joined Kathryn Hahn and Kristen Johnston in "Ab Fab."

George and Drew join Martin Henderson on "Inside the Box," which is set at a network's Washington bureau. Rhimes is executive producing and former ABC News producer Richard E. Robbins is writing. George, whose credits also include "Eve" and "What About Brian," will play an on-air reporter, and Drew, who had a recurring part on "Mad Men" last season, will play a low-level employee.

The pilot has yet to cast its lead role, a female producer for the network.

FOX's "Ab Fab" is a remake of the beloved Britcom that revolves around the self-obsessed Eddie (Hahn) and Patsy (Johnston). Mamet, the daughter of David Mamet, will play Eddie's put-upon daughter Saffron. Trucks ("Barbershop," "All of Us") will play Eddie's assistant.
