Fast National ratings for Wednesday, March 21, 2007.

Viewers flocked to FOX for Stephanie Edwards' somewhat surprisingly "American Idol" elimination and even stuck around for a less surprising "'Til Death."

Overall, FOX won the night with a 9.5 rating/15 share, topping the 8.8/14 for CBS. ABC was a distant third with a 5.0/8, followed by NBC's 4.0/6. The CW was fifth with a 2.7/4.

FOX also won among adults 18-49, doing a 5.7 rating in the key demographic. CBS was second with a 4.2 rating and ABC's 3.2 rating was third. The CW moved up to fourth with a 2.0 rating, leaving poor NBC to hide its head in a fifth place shame with a 1.8 rating.

CBS kicked the night off in first with the 7.7/13 for a special Wednesday episode of "Survivor: Fiji." FOX was second with the 6.6/11 for "Bones." ABC's "George Lopez" and "According to Jim" sat in third, topping the 3.8/6 for NBC's "Friday Night Lights." The CW's "America's Next Top Model" did a 3.4/6 for fifth.

FOX grabbed first for the 9 p.m. hour with the "American Idol" results show (15.8/24) and "'Til Death" (9.0/14). CBS' "Criminal Minds" had a 9.7/15 and even grabbed first for the hour's second half. NBC's "Crossing Jordan" was a distant third, but at least it beat the 3.5/5 for ABC's "According to Jim" and "In Case of Emergency." The CW's Pussycat Doll-themed reality show was fifth with an encore airing.

At 10 p.m., CBS' "CSI: NY" was the leader with a 9.1/15. ABC's "Lost" had a 7.4/12 for second. NBC trailed with "Medium."
