Every single time Daniel Day-Lewis has been nominated for a lead actor SAG Award, he's also won. Which is good news for viewers because he always gives great speeches. While accepting for "Lincoln," Day-Lewis gave a shout out to the un-nominated Joaquin Phoenix from "The Master": "He's probably not looking in tonight, but Joaquin you are a remarkable actor and I'm sorry you're not with us this evening." And made a clever joke about John Wilkes Booth: "It occurred to me that it was an actor that murdered Abraham Lincoln. And therefore somehow it's only fitting that every now and then an actor tries to bring him back to life again."
