Sandra Bullock isn't about to stand by and let a misguided fan try to kill her husband.
The "Premonition" star filed a request for a restraining order Tuesday, May 1 against Marcia Valentine, who tried to run over the actress' husband, "Monster Garage" host Jesse James, last month, reports TMZ.com.
The court documents describe the April 22 incident thusly, "Defendant made several attempts to run plaintiff's husband over with her car near Plaintiffs' residence while waiving [sic] to Plaintiff Bullock. Defendant had previously trespassed on Plaintiffs' peroperty on several occasions, and threw numerous signs and other objects over their gate."
At the time, Bullock and James' 10-year-old son, Jesse Jr., witnessed the attack. Valentine got away, but was later picked up based on James' description of her and her car. She made the $25,000 bail and is due in court on May 22.
The request is seeking to keep Valentine away from Bullock, James and his three sons: Sunny, 3, Jesse Jr. and Chandler, 12. If granted, the fan will have to stay at least 500 yards away from their home, any workplace/TV or movie set, the children's school or child care facility and their vehicles.
Bullock's most recent film credits include "Crash," "Miss Congeniality 2," "The Lake House," "Infamous" and "Premonition." She next plans to produce and star in "All About Steve," slated to begin shooting this summer.
