"Scrubs" actress Sarah Chalke, one of the few women whose characters aren't pregnant on the show, still has some good news.
Chalke, 30, is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Jamie Afifi, reports People.
The couple, who are both Canadian, was on vacation in Hawaii last week when Afifi surprised her by proposing. Flush with the good news, Chalke returned to work on Monday (Dec. 4).
Afifi, 33, is an entertainment lawyer.
Chalke isn't the only new fiancee on the set. In August, John C. McGinley, who plays the sarcastic Dr. Cox on the sitcom, got engaged to his girlfriend Nichole Kessler.
Chalke recently starred in the Lifetime movie "Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy," based on the book by Geralyn Lucas. She also wrapped shooting the film "Mama's Boy," alongside Diane Keaton and "Napoleon Dynamite" star Jon Heder.Copyright © 2014, Los Angeles Times
