Star Jones Reynolds' breast surgery wasn't the uplifting experience she expected.
The co-host of "The View" went under the knife last week (March 17) so her "girls" would be perky like her personality, launching rumors that somehow the procedure went awry. Her publicist Brad Zeifman would only confirm the surgery, stating, "Star is recovering wonderfully."
There was no confirmation of the other rumors that included speculation that she was suffering from internal bleeding or that she also threw in a tummy tuck during surgery.
Jones Reynolds has been extremely, sometimes overly, open with her life -- except for how remarkable weight loss in which she slimmed down from a size 26 to a 10. She is, however, very quick to share her overwhelming love for shoes and her husband Al Reynolds, who recently had his own hospital stay after slipping at the gym and suffering lacerations to his head.
Jones Reynolds, who turns 44 Friday (March 24), is expected to be healed enough to resume taping of "The View" next week.Copyright © 2015, Los Angeles Times
