Sharon Stone

Last TV role: "Law & Order: SVU" (recurring, 2010)

Why we want her back: Although she's had recurring guest roles on "SVU," "Huff" and "The Practice," Stone's only experience as a series regular was the short-lived '80s baseball drama "Bay City Blues." She's been active in indie films lately, but the one-time "Basic Instinct" sex symbol should take a page from other movie stars -- Jessica Lange, Glenn Close, Ellen Barkin -- and give TV a try.

Suggested role: It's no coincidence both Lange and Barkin chose to work with Ryan Murphy. He'd be a perfect match for Stone. (And if FOX ever decides to put "Glee" out of its misery, he'll have an open slot on a very busy dance card.)
