'Crossing Lines'

Premieres: Sunday, June 23 on NBC

Why we're watching: Because we've seen the premiere and it's fantastic. William Fichtner stars as a former NYPD detective who was crippled when he was shot in the hand. He's brought on to an elite force of detectives from various countries to solve crimes that cross borders and therefore get lost in a lot of bureaucratic red tape and police territoriality. It feels much grittier than an NBC summer show and we hope it takes off so that we'll get more of it.
