Then:As Buffy's Watcher, Giles became the father figure to pretty much everyone. Giles survived the series, and for several years after its cancellation there was talk of a spinoff. Now, he lives on in the comic books, in which he has become the head of the Watchers Council. Like a boss.

Now: Head's show "Free Agents" was canceled by NBC last year, but he can be seen in the upcoming "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters" film.
