TV Ratings: CBS Is a Ratings 'Whisperer' on Friday

Three hours of drama added up to a win for CBS in households with a 6.5 rating/12 share for the night. ABC was second with a 4.5/8, followed by NBC, 2.6/5, FOX, 2.1/4, and The CW, 1.2/2.

Among 18 to 49-year-olds, CBS was also tops with a 2.3. ABC had a 1.8 over FOX's 1.3 and NBC's 1.2. The CW brought up the rear with a 0.8.

CBS started off at 8 p.m. with the highest-rated, most-watched show of the evening, "Ghost Whisperer," 6.9/13. ABC's "Wife Swap" took a 2.9/5. NBC's "Howie Do It" brought in a 2.4/4, enough to put FOX's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" in fourth place, 2.0/4. The CW gave up its evening to a rebroadcast of this week's "America's Next Top Model" premiere.

At 9 p.m., "Flashpoint," brought CBS down to a 6.2/11, but still handily won the hour. ABC held on to second place with "20/20: Special Edition," 5.4/9, while NBC and FOX decked it out with "Friday Night Lights," 2.3/4, and "Dollhouse," 2.2/4.

CBS ticked back up at 10 p.m. to a 6.3/11 with "Numb3rs." ABC stayed in second place with "20/20," 5.1/9, and NBC made its way back to a 3.2/6 with "Dateline."
