TV ratings: CBS wins Monday, 'Bachelorette' beats 'Celebrity'

Both "The Bachelorette" and "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here" built their ratings Monday night, but not enough to bump CBS from the top spot.

CBS led the night with a 5.0 rating/9 share and 7.65 million viewers. ABC took second with a 4.3/7. FOX and NBC tied for third in households at 3.8/6, with FOX holding a very slim lead in total viewers (5.7 million to 5.68 million). The CW was well off the pace at 0.7/1.

ABC and CBS tied for the lead among adults 18-49 at 2.3. NBC drew a 2.0 to finish third, followed by FOX at 1.7. The CW managed only a 0.4.

"The Bachelorette," 4.6/8, put ABC on top at 8 o'clock. Reruns of "The Big Bang Theory" and "How I Met Your Mother" averaged 4.1/7 for CBS. A "House" repeat, 3.8/6, grabbed third for FOX, ahead of the 3.1/5 for "I'm a Celebrity" on NBC. The CW ran a "Gossip Girl" repeat.

CBS took over at 9 with "Two and a Half Men," the night's most-watched show at 6.0/10, and a second "Big Bang Theory," 4.9/8. "The Bachelorette" improved to 5.1/8 in its second hour. "Bones" (3.7/6) was third in households for FOX, but NBC had more viewers with "I'm a Celebrity," 3.6/6. "One Tree Hill" finished the night for The CW.

"CSI: Miami," 5.5/9, kept CBS on top at 10 p.m. "Dateline" scored a 4.6/8 for NBC, while "Here Come the Newlyweds" drew a 3.2/5 for ABC.
