TV ratings: ABC's 'Bachelorette' tell-all wins adults Monday

It was a photo finish for Monday's ratings race, but in the end, it was ABC's superior adult-demo appeal that won the night, despite CBS drawing the most eyes overall.

Both ABC and CBS averaged a 4.9 rating/9 share in households, although CBS' 7.52 million viewers just edged out ABC's 7.43 million. In the adult 18-49 demo, however, ABC achieved a 2.6 compared to CBS' 2.2. In third place for the night was FOX (4.11 million, 2.7/5), followed by NBC (3.58 million, 2.4/4) and The CW (697,000, 0.5/1).

ABC: "The Bachelorette: Men Tell All" (7.8 million , 5.2/9)
CBS: "How I Met Your Mother" repeat (5.2 million, 3.5/6), "Rules of Engagement" repeat (5.2 million, 3.5/6)
