Tom Wilkinson and Jim Belushi will see "The Ghost."

According to sources, the pair have joined the cast of Roman Polanski's adaptation of the Robert Harris political thriller. Harris' original novel follows the life of a British prime minister as told to a ghostwriter, interwoven with a murder story concerning the politician's aide. The author came under fire after publication thanks to similarities between his characters and the inner circle surrounding former prime minister Tony Blair.

No word on what roles Wilkinson and Belushi will play. Pierce Brosnan will step into the role of the prime minister, and Ewan MacGregor has been tapped as the ghostwriter.

Wilkinson, 60, can be seen in this year's "Duplicity." Belushi, 54, is the star of TV's "According to Jim."
