The soap opera otherwise known as "American Idol's" search for Season 10's replacement judges took yet another dramatic turn. Sources close to negotiations claim Jennifer Lopez' "list of demands" has taken her out of the running for the coveted seat. With news of J. Lo's impending deal potentially as dead as her recording career, Nick Cannon seized the opportunity to tell the world that wife Mariah Carey would love to fill one of the vacant seats. And since no one is speaking for themselves and it's apparently all about "representin'," Daddy Dioguardi went on defensive (or offensive) for daughter Kara, saying she would still like to remain a judge. Cue your surprise face. Oh yeah and remember guest mentor Shania Twain, well she's rumored to be J. Lo's "Backup Plan" if none of the aforementioned contenders will be sipping out of Simon or Ellen's sloppy second Coca Cola cup. --Joseph Anthony Kapsch, Zap2it Related: 'American Idol' judges: Jennifer Lopez out, Kara DioGuardi, Mariah Carey... in?
