Remember the days when a middle-class suburban family could have a butler? Seems so long ago. But it did happen with the show "Mr Belvedere." The English butler who kept a journal of his American lessons and escapades was sexy because he made it look so easy -- caring for a family with a son who had a Bart Simpson complex before there was a Bart Simpson and still staying true to his refined self amid the chaos of a two-income family. It's not nuclear science, but the main character did manage to get married and move to Africa when the show ended, so someone found Lynn sexy, no?
