Dan Aykroyd in 'Trading Places'

Louis Winthorpe III (Aykroyd) is a successful Philadelphia commodity broker, but is busted down to pauper when the Duke brothers play with his life for fun and a wager. Now Billy Ray Valentine, a hustler, has his life. What's a man to do? Wallow in self pity until a hooker with a heart of gold ( Jamie Lee Curtis) comes along to help him find the silver lining of his new station. The result: Winthorpe gets his due win he and Valentine turn the tables on the Dukes. Now he and his servant, Valentine, and hooker girlfriend are living the good life in the Caribbean. The lesson: adversity makes us enjoy what we have when we have it. And never turn your back on another human being -- they could be your savior in a pinch.
