A revolution is on its way to Mandalay Bay Beach in September when the O.A.R. “Back to Rockville” tour returns to Las Vegas. The Saturday, Sept. 18, show is in support of the band’s “The Rockville LP,” the group’s latest album, recorded in Nashville, Bethesda, Md., and Brooklyn, N.Y.

Since forming in 1996, the Rockville band has become known for its live shows and summer tours. In fact, O.A.R., which stands for Of a Revolution, has released five albums of live performances.

The newest songs from the group include “Irish Rose,” “Caroline the Wrecking Ball” and “The Architect,” a song adored by longtime fans but one O.A.R. had never before committed to an album.

The band last played the Mandalay Bay Events Center in December.
