11/22/2025 01:30 am GMT-0800 | Northridge – Police are investigating a shooting that left at least one woman dead early Saturday morning. The victim was reportedly driven to Northridge Hospital Medical Center by a friend after being shot in the abdomen near Bryant Street and Tampa Avenue around 1:30 a.m., according to initial reports. The woman, described as being in her 20s, later died at the hospital. Media reports two other people were reportedly in critical condition following the shooting, though that information has not been confirmed by authorities. Witnesses told police that three suspects approached two people sitting inside a car and opened fire several times, police said. A large LAPD presence was seen in the area as officers investigated. Yellow crime scene tape surrounded a black SUV outside the hospital that was being examined as part of the investigation.
