Rapper T.I. is headed back to Atlanta ‘in the next 24 hours’ in the wake of his arrest Wednesday on suspicion of drug possession, one of his lawyers told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Thursday.

The recording artist is out on $10,000 bail and due in Beverly Hills court at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

T.I., a.k.a. Clifford Harris, has been instructed to report to his probation officer, according to another one of his lawyers. The performer is on probation through 2013 after fulfilling a 366-day sentence on federal gun charges. After his 2007 arrest, he cut a deal that sent him on a pre-incarceration community-service tour of schools — and took years off his sentence.

Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle was arrested along with her husband, whose movie ‘Takers’ topped the box office last weekend.
