Nearly 400 people lined up to apply for 20 jobs offered by a new company in the Tulare County community of Farmersville, and company officials said they expect at least 800 more applications. Rawhide Circuits Inc., which is scheduled to begin operations by the end of this month, is seeking people for manufacturing, quality control assurance and staff positions, and a company official said the firm was attracted to the area by its readily available labor force. Many of the applicants said they had worked at the Candlewick Yarns plant in Exeter, which closed down last spring.
