MOLINE, Ill. —
Deere & Co. will nearly double its capital expenditures to $150 million in 1895 from $80 million in 1984. Chairman Robert A. Hanson said at the company’s annual meeting.
Most of the money will be used to implement “cost-reduction opportunities and to maintain product leadership” at the major farm equipment manufacturer, Hanson said.
