Greyhound sold some of its insurance units.

The Phoenix-based company’s domestic Pine Top insurance subsidiaries, Pine Top Insurance (Illinois) and Pine Top Life (Arizona), were purchased by Whitney Financial Group, which is also headquartered in Phoenix. The sale was closed on March 22 for an amount approximating the book value of the companies. Whitney Financial will continue to operate the companies under their present managements.
