Williamson Decisions Robinson for Title
J.B. Williamson of Los Angeles scored a unanimous 12-round decision over Grover Robinson of Fremont, Calif., Tuesday night at the Forum to win the vacated California State light-heavyweight title.
In a pair of 10-rounders, Refugio Rojas, 126, of Los Angeles defeated Erskine Wade, 125 1/2, of Detroit, and Ernie Johnson, 125 1/2, of San Diego beat Mark Fernandez, 124 3/4, of Denver.
