400 Aliens Ousted From Nigeria Cross Benin

COTONOU, Benin —
More than 400 illegal aliens expelled from Nigeria on Sunday crossed the tiny West African state of Benin by road after the Cotonou government let them cross its eastern border, witnesses said.
An initial convoy of Togolese and Ghanaians, escorted by Benin police, left the small frontier post of Igolo, on Benin’s frontier with Nigeria, and headed west along the coastal road leading to Togo, they said.
