Man With Knife Robs Gas Station
A knife-wielding robber made off with $325 from a gas station Friday morning, Riverside County sheriff’s deputies reported.
The robber threatened the clerk at the Texaco station on Hamner Avenue with a knife and demanded cash, said Sheriff’s Deputy Debra Wilson.
The robber fled on foot after the clerk, 26, gave him the contents of the cash register.
No customers were in the station at the time, Wilson added.
Deputies are seeking a man described as Latino in his 20s, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds, Wilson said.
