Restaurant Robbed of $3,217: Bandits robbed Huntington Beach’s Bodega Bay Restaurant at 18782 Beach Blvd. of $3,217 Sunday after knocking manager John Felicetti to the ground shortly after the business closed, Huntington Beach police said. Felicetti told police he locked the restaurant’s front door and was counting the night’s receipts in the rear of the restaurant about 11:30 p.m. when two men hit him from behind. One man clamped a small revolver to his head, and the pair then removed cash and charge receipts from the restaurant’s register. After attempting to “break down” the back door to escape, according to police, they then asked Felicetti to open it. Police said they believe the men may have hidden inside the restaurant and then remained there after it was locked.
