Coca-Cola weighed a new theme for its old Coke.

The company is considering using “The Real Choice” as the advertising theme for its old-formula Coke, which the company has reintroduced as Coca-Cola Classic, a spokesman said. Coke’s 1970s slogan was “It’s the Real Thing.” Coca-Cola’s reformulated Coke, which was unveiled in April, will retain the slogan “Coke Is It,” which had been used for the original Coke.
