Atlantic Richfield named James H. Caldwell Jr., president of Chatsworth-based Arco Solar Inc., a corporate vice president. Donald A. Murray, vice president-employee relations, will replace D.H. Smith, who was recently named senior vice president for Arco Petroleum Products Co. Also, Stephen J. Giovanisci was named vice president-public affairs for the Western states, a new position.
