Apparently, It’s the Name That Bowls People Over

I was utterly astonished when I read that USC had been invited to the Aloha Bowl. It struck like lightning, destroying any confidence I had left about the integrity of bowl game committees.

The Trojan invitation proves two things: Records don’t matter, only names; and there are too many bowl games.
