Quake Registers 3.1
A minor earthquake rattled the Long Beach area Friday morning, but no damage or injuries were reported, authorities said. The quake, measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale, hit at 8:16 a.m. and was centered four miles south of the city, Caltech seismology laboratory spokesman Robert Finn said.
