Press release of the week, from Susan Blond Inc. publicity: It announces that David Brenner will be enjoying his "first vacation in a year from a non-stop work schedule" . . . is declining any "new offers" in lieu of a "working vacation" . . . while on a Greek Island cruise, will write a comedy/action film (he'll star) and read reviews of his latest literary endeavor, a paperback book called "Nobody Ever Sees You Eat Tuna Fish."
Well, oops, the release neglects to mention why Brenner will have all this free time: His late-night talk show, "Nightlife," just got axed.
