Local News in Brief : Monday Is Deadline to Register to Vote
- Share via
Los Angeles residents who have not registered to vote or who have moved since last November’s election must register by next Monday in order to vote in the city’s April 11 primary.
Registration forms are available at all city offices, as well as city and county libraries and fire stations, City Clerk Elias Martinez said.
Voters may also register in person or use mail registration forms by calling the county registrar of voters at (213) 721-1100.
Residents who voted in the November election need not register again unless they have moved or changed their names, Martinez said.
To be eligible to vote, residents must be U.S. citizens and at least 18 years old by Election Day.
