Wet Seal, an Irvine-based women’s apparel retailer, is continuing its aggressive expansion.
The chain recently opened a store at Newport Center Fashion Island--giving Wet Seal a store in every regional mall in Orange County. An outlet also has been added in Las Vegas, the company’s second out-of-state store. Two more sites outside of California also are being considered for openings later this year, a spokeswoman said.
Wet Seal also is expanding its stores in Westminster Mall and Mission Viejo Mall to almost double their current space.
