Heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, in a published report Sunday, described as absurd passages in a new biography that quote him as saying he likes to hurt women during sex and that his best punch was against his ex-wife.

“It’s all bull,” Tyson said in an interview in Sunday’s New York Post. “It’s ridiculous. It’s absurd when you think about it.

“First, they said I was gay. Then, they said I had too many girls. Now, they’re saying that I’m hurting girls.

“If I’m into hurting girls . . . than how come I have so many? Why would women come near me?” said Tyson, who is in Atlantic City, N.J., training for next month’s title defense against Carl (the Truth) Williams.

In his unauthorized biography of Tyson, “Fire and Fear,” former light-heavyweight champion Jose Torres quoted the champion as saying, “I like to hurt women when I make love to them. . . . It gives me pleasure.”

The book by the former Tyson insider who now heads the New York State Athletic Commission also quotes the champion as saying the best punch he ever threw was at ex-wife Robin Givens.

“I don’t believe the public is that gullible,” Tyson said. “I am just like any other young guy. I have the same interests that other guys my age have. The only difference is that I’m the champ.”
