Colorado’s Aunese in Serious Condition
Cancer-stricken Colorado quarterback Sal Aunese remained hospitalized with breathing problems and his condition was changed from stable to serious at University Hospital in Boulder, Colo.
He is a very sick young man,”said Bobbi Barrow, a hospital spokeswoman. “He remains on oxygen but is not today undergoing any chemotherapy or radiation (treatments).”
Aunese, 21, first diagnosed as having inoperable stomach and lung cancer last March, was brought to the hospital last Sunday with breathing problems.
