A 79-year-old blind San Diego woman was killed Friday while crossing Adams Avenue, Deputy Coroner George Dickason said.
Ann Vinson, 79, was struck by an eastbound car as she stepped off the curb in the 3400 block of Adams Avenue near Mansfield Street at 6:32 a.m.
The driver, whose name was not disclosed, was not arrested, a police spokesman said.
