Top Cross-Country Teams Gather at Dana Hills
More than 75 high schools will compete today in the Dana Hills Invitational cross-country meet at Dana Hills High School.
Leading boys’ teams include Saddleback, the county’s top-ranked team, second-ranked San Clemente, third-ranked Villa Park, fourth-ranked Corona del Mar, fifth-ranked Fountain Valley, eighth-ranked Dana Hills and ninth-ranked Santa Ana.
Girls’ team include top-ranked San Clemente, second-ranked Woodbridge, third-ranked Los Alamitos, fourth-ranked Tustin, fifth-ranked El Toro, sixth-ranked Irvine, eighth-ranked Capistrano Valley and 10th-ranked Huntington Beach.
The meet, which begins at 8 a.m., will be run in three divisions, based on enrollment. Boys will run by class; girls will run in freshman, sophomore or junior/senior divisions.
